Our admin hours are Mon/Tu/Th/Fri 8:30am-7:30pm, Wed till 4:30pm. If your appointment is outside of admin hours, if you are booking at the Timberline Village (Acute Injury) clinic, or if you are a new patient booking online, you must leave a credit card number on our secure no-contact payment system; you can set this up on your Jane patient portal when you book your appointment online. A receipt will be emailed to you once our admin staff completes your payment.
We direct-bill most extended health companies once insurer information is provided. We are currently NOT taking any new ICBC or WSBC patients. We are happy to refer you to a clinic that does. We do NOT have direct billing for MSP Eligible patients. We take full visit payment and give a receipt that you are able to submit for MSP refund.

Nick grew up in Campbell River and is thrilled to return to his hometown to join the team at Active Living Physiotherapy. With a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from UBC (2023), and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from UVic (2019) Nick brings a fresh approach and is well- equipped to provide the highest quality care to our clients. You may recognize him as he joined us for a clinical placement during his time as a physiotherapy student.
Nick has previously worked as a Kinesiologist with ICBC, WorkSafe and athletic populations in Physiotherapy clinics and has had a variety of physiotherapy student placement opportunities. These experiences fueled his belief in a multifaceted and comprehensive approach to Physiotherapy including manual therapy, exercise, education, and self-empowerment. Nick understands the importance of establishing strong relationships with his clients to collaboratively determine the most effective approach for their physiotherapy journey. By combining hands-on techniques with evidence-based exercises, Nick helps patients regain their strength, mobility, and overall quality of life, so they can get back to their favourite activities, sports and recreation. In his leisure time, Nick is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying mountain biking, skiing, and hiking. These pursuits not only align with his personal interests but also provide him with firsthand experience in injury rehabilitation. Nick is eager to reconnect with his hometown and to explore new and exciting adventures on the north island.

Jon is a graduate of the UBC Masters of Physical Therapy program and has been practicing since 2012.
He is particularly interested in sports injuries, ACL and other post-op rehabilitation, running injuries and video running gait analysis, general strength and conditioning, and chronic pain; however, he is excited to work with anyone who is motivated to invest time and energy into improving how they move.
In addition to his clinical work he has served as a Clinical Educator for the UBC Physical Therapy program and has completed a number of post-graduate courses in manual therapy, Functional Dry Needling (IMS), running injuries, functional movement assessment, and pain science. He is a former collegiate athlete, has experience coaching CrossFit, and has served as a rugby team therapist at the club, university, provincial, and national levels.

Krista is CanFitPro Certified Personal Trainer and recently completed her Rehab Assistant Diploma through Capilano College. She is also a Yoga and Mat Pilates Instructor. Sonja began her educational pursuits studying Immunology and Infection at the University of Alberta. After completing her undergraduate degree (2013), she went on to get her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta (2016).
Since graduating, Sonja has not stopped learning and has taken numerous post graduate courses in orthopaedics, manual therapy, acupuncture, pelvic health, pelvic pain, Integrated Systems Model with Diane Lee, cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation and more.
Sonja applies her passion and uses an approach founded in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM) to look at a person as a whole to get to the root of the problem. She ensures her patients feel heard and understood as they navigate their way towards well being. Sonja has a passion for pelvic health, chronic pain and complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Jonathan was born and raised in Miramichi, New Brunswick and moved to Campbell River with his family in his teenage years. He immediately fell in love with the area and the people, and considers himself lucky to have grown up in places with ample outdoor opportunities.
Jonathan is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Masters of Physiotherapy program (2017) and the University of Victoria’s Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology program (2015). He has been working in a private physiotherapy clinic for the last 4 years in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia treating a variety of orthopaedic and neuropathic conditions. Jonathan has also been a Teaching Assistant at the School of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University for 2 years. She is Campbell River’s only certified Sports Physiotherapist and is passionate about ongoing professional education to update her knowledge. Robyn has over 10 years experience as a Practicing Kinesiologist in exercise therapy, occupational rehabilitation and ergonomics. She studied Kinesiology at University of Alberta and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. She is accepting clients with a wide range of abilities and challenges – injury recovery, chronic conditions, athletes and general fitness.
Robyn is passionate about injury prevention and rehabilitation and her infectious enthusiasm and knowledge makes her a pleasure to work with. She has experience with rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries, persistent pain and general conditioning.
Robyn facilitates our hydrotherapy program, mobility classes, GLA:D Canada, running clinics, and just recently, a Parkinson’s specific class. She has taken courses in Running Injury Prevention, Parkinson’s Exercise, Ergonomics, Exercise Prescription, Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis and Injury Management.
Robyn moved to Vancouver Island from Alberta permanently in 2011. She enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that the island has to offer including skiing, hiking, beach walks, mountain biking and running. She finished her first half marathon in 2016 and is looking to continue in more events.

Evan is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Masters in Physical Therapy Program (2019) and University of Victoria’s Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology program (2015). Evan grew up in Campbell River and has always had a love for sports and fitness. He loves weight training, golf, basketball, and triathlon. While these sports have kept him active, they have not been without their own physical hurdles and injuries. It was through his own process of injury recovery that he discovered a love for anatomy and rehabilitation, which led him to pursue education in Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapist he loves finding the source of the problem and using the most appropriate treatment tools to create a solution. Evan uses hands-on manual therapy, manipulation, Dry Needling (IMS), exercise rehabilitation, and education to ensure his clients obtain the best rehab experience. His current interests lie in shoulder rehabilitation, low back injuries, strength training injuries, and vestibular rehabilitation, but he is excited to see anyone that comes in the door!
