A valid credit card on file is required for all online booking
Our admin hours are Mon/Tu/Th/Fri 8:30am-7:30pm, Wed till 4:30pm. If your appointment is outside of admin hours, if you are booking at the Timberline Village clinic, or if you are a new patient booking online, you must leave a credit card number on our secure no-contact payment system; you can set this up on your Jane patient portal when you book your appointment online. A receipt will be emailed to you once our admin staff completes your payment.
We direct-bill most extended health companies. Please provide insurer information prior to your first visit.
We are NOT currently taking ICBC or WorkSafe BC insured patients.
We do NOT have direct billing for MSP Eligible patients. We take full visit payment and give a receipt that you are able to submit for MSP refund.

Sonja began her educational pursuits studying Immunology and Infection at the University of Alberta. After completing her undergraduate degree (2013), she went on to get her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta (2016).
Since graduating, Sonja has not stopped learning and has taken numerous post graduate courses in orthopaedics, manual therapy, acupuncture, pelvic health, pelvic pain, Integrated Systems Model with Diane Lee, cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation and more.
Sonja applies her passion and uses an approach founded in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM) to look at a person as a whole to get to the root of the problem. She ensures her patients feel heard and understood as they navigate their way towards well being. Sonja has a passion for pelvic health, chronic pain and complex musculoskeletal conditions.
Sonja is honoured to work with her clients, and genuinely loves what she does.
Beyond physiotherapy, she enjoys spending time outside hiking, running, skiing and exploring the island with daughter, son, husband and dog.

Danielle is a Registered Physiotherapist with over 23 years of experience and a lifelong passion for human anatomy and movement. Her journey began at the University of Victoria, where a serendipitous human anatomy course sparked her fascination with the musculoskeletal system. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1996 and spending several years travelling, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia in 2002.
Danielle’s treatment approach is grounded in thorough assessment, patient education, and hands-on therapy combined with personalized home exercise programs. She enjoys empowering patients to better understand their bodies and recover function through practical, evidence-informed care.
Her clinical interests include complex pelvic and low back dysfunction, pelvic pain (including coccyx, sexual, menstrual, peri-menopausal, and pregnancy-related pain), incontinence, prolapse, and constipation. Danielle also has a special interest in upper cervical dysfunction and headaches and has recently completed a research-based Master’s degree focused on ligamentous assessment of the upper neck.
Danielle has worked extensively in rural and remote communities, including 12 years running her own private practice in Gold River and the past decade practicing in Gisborne, New Zealand. She is a licensed Physiotherapist in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Now based in Campbell River after a recent European adventure, Danielle brings a global perspective and deep clinical experience to her practice. Outside the clinic, she enjoys yoga, hiking, mountain biking, gardening, and planning her next journey.

Sophia completed her Masters in Physical Therapy at UofT and her Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is Campbell River’s only certified Sports Physiotherapist and is passionate about ongoing professional education to update her knowledge. She is a Gunn IMS (Dry Needling) practitioner, has a special interest in TMJ disorders, and is a Clinical Faculty Instructor with the UBC Physical Therapy program. Sophia and her clinic have been voted “Best Physiotherapist” and ”Best Physiotherapy Clinic” in Campbell River Mirror’s Readers Choice Awards multiple years in a row.
Sophia has over 25 years of experience as a physio and brought the one-on-one model of physiotherapy care to Campbell River when she founded Active Living Physiotherapy in 2012. Sophia has a special interest in treating endurance athletes (runners, cyclists, triathletes, swimmers, Nordic skiers), athletes, complex cases and anyone interested in living a long and healthy life! Evan is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Masters in Physical Therapy Program (2019) and University of Victoria’s Kinesiology Program (2015). Evan grew up in Campbell River and is proud to be back serving his community. He has always had a love for sports and fitness including weight training, triathlon, golf, and basketball. While these sports have kept him active, they have not been without their own hurdles and injuries. It was through his own process of injury recovery that he discovered an interest in anatomy and rehabilitation. This led him to pursue education in Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapist he uses a detailed assessment to find the source of the problem and applies the most appropriate treatment tools to create a solution. Evan uses hands-on manual therapy, Dry Needling (IMS), exercise rehabilitation, and education to ensure his clients obtain the best rehab experience. His current interests lie in shoulder rehabilitation, low back injuries, strength training injuries, and vestibular rehabilitation.
